Busy day in the worksop today with some new pieces taking shape. Lots of paperwork to catch up on this week too following a few days away last week. Excited about the craft fair this weekend in Merchant Square and will be busily working on new creations for that and also the etsy shop and website...............................Wonder when we'll sleep !!

We can hardly believe it ourselves but after weeks of trying out different e-commerce templates, we have decided to go with an Etsy site for now and we'll link that to our facebook page and to our own website pages too..................Currently we're updating all our photographs to enable us to add them to our gallery and load them on to Etsy. Its a long process but we're getting there !

We're back after a little break and itching to begin creating some lovely new pieces. Feeling inspired by the beautiful Cornish scenery !

Where to begin will be the biggest problem with so many new idea's. Going to have to research some new techniques too ............................

Well thats nearly the end of a busy working weekend. Had such a great time, meeting lots of interesting people and some lovely stall holders with fascinating tales to tell.......................................Website in the final stages of production and may even go live tonight or tomorrow........Exciting stuff ! Holidays beckon this week with a trip to Cornwall but we'll still have Circa 72 firmly on our minds and will be looking at beautiful Cornwall as a plentiful source of inspiration for new pieces.

Fabulous Day..........Joined by my best friend at the Craft fair which I'm pleased to report was lovely and busy. Took 2 commissions which will keep me busy next week before my holidays.

Tired but happy and looking forward to all the fun and mayhem again tomorrow !

Lovely stickers arrived today with Circa 72 printed on them and a pretty butterfly - Sweet. Its been all go getting ready for the craft fair this weekend in Merchant Square. Lots achieved today but still lots to get on with tomorrow, happy days !..........................

Downing tools early today to meet up with fellow jewellery making friends for a few drinks and a good catch up...................Another productive day though with more butterfly earrings made. Will make sure we post the pics later in the week.

Today we have been mostly oxidising things !!!! Lovely to bring out the textures, gives a lovely aged look to the silver that we love.........Busy getting ready for the craft fair this weekend in Merchant square too. Exciting !

Well thats another Monday gone in a flash !! We were joined today for the last time by the jewellery Elf.........had a lovely day but we're very sad that it was our last day together. More jewellery made today ahead of the craft fair in Merchant Square this weekend. Looking forward to getting back there and meeting more lovely people.

Progress is being made on our website and it should be up and running very soon. We have more jewellery to photograph this week, so keep checking our facebook page for new items.

Another week has passed with lots of exciting goings on for Circa 72. Highlight of the week was definitely receiving our membership to the BJA Org. Business banking all set up and running smoothly thanks to the lovely people at Santander so thats another chore ticked off the "To Do" list !!!! Thanks so much for all your encouraging messages and enquiries this week, it has really given us a boost. Hope you all kick back and have a great weekend................................

Some lovely butterfly creations fluttering about in our workshop today.................so pretty, they'll be photographed and posted to our facebook page tomorrow.

Another busy day, but this time doing the fun bit !! We were joined by our jewellery making Elf today who helped create some lovely jewellery.......We'll be able to post pictures later in the week when they are all polished and ready for sale.

Was a day spent mainly on earrings today with a pretty butterfly design and also a delicate dragonfly that is going to be oxidised to help show off the texture on its wings ahhhh ................

Progress today with the Edinburgh Assay office who have confirmed our makers stamp is underway and our hallmark size has been chosen ............so good news because in a few weeks we will be able to send items to be hallmarked and stamped with our own makers mark. Currently work is in progress on a pretty butterfly necklace set with turquoise stones hopefully we'll be able to upload a picture of the completed necklace later this week. In the mean time we'll upload some more pictures of our jewellery.

Busy day at Circa 72 today catching up with the paper work and all the less exciting business related tasks. Good news though we have confirmed our place at the Merchant City Craft market for 14th & 15th August, 4th, 5th, 28th & 29th September and every weekend in October, November and December so busy times ahead !

Todays boost arrived with our post this morning in the form of our Certificate of Membership to The British Jewellery Organisation. Fab news and now thats been confirmed, we can forge ahead with our branding and printing of our business stationary.

What an exciting weekend we've had, with the official launch of Circa 72. Met some great people at the Merchant City Craft Market and also some very talented stall holders. We were very tempted to spend our hard earned cash on the array of wonderful products available to buy but managed to resist the temptation.............Well almost !

Received lots of great feedback from customers both those who bought our jewellery and those who were just browsing, It was fantastic to hear such praise with the little "Forget Me Not Robins" taking the most admired prize of the entire weekend. Thanks also to good friends who popped in to see us and offer their support, great to see you. Looking forward to our next weekend at the craft market on 14th and 15th August.
